We need your help! We need to get as many people as possible to call our legislators. This new tobacco tax is likely to pass and some of my friends throughout the state will be forced to close their doors. Some possibly within our region!
The Governor has proposed raising the tobacco tax to 75%!!!
On behalf of all tobacco retailers, pipe and cigar smokers from New York State, I urge you (and I mean strongly URGE you) to call these guys and stand tall and say “Enough Already”
Tell these legislators that you are proud New York residents and voters and urge them to OPPOSE this tax increase, or any additional tax. The calls should start right away and not end until we have a budget. Please forward this message to everyone in your address books!
