While Russ was experimenting with the recipe for this year’s holiday pipe tobacco blend, all of us working in the office were driven mad by the delicious aromas. First it was… is it? Yes, that’s pumpkin! Memories from holidays past began to run through the backs of our minds as we worked. Later, when Russ brought a sample around for us to smell… I took one whiff of his new blend and immediately said “Cheesecake?” Russ gave me a high five, thrilled that the subtle hint of holiday dessert came through.
After smelling his new holiday blend “Pumpkin Cheesecake”, I think it’s safe to say that everyone became hungry for an indulgent sweet treat!
If you have to pick a produce that best describes the fall in New York State you’d probably pick Pumpkin. That may be true of most parts of our country but if you’ve ever had the chance to get a New York Style Cheesecake you are familiar with that quality. We took the two things that we think of frequently this time of year and put them in a pipe tobacco. This started out as a limited release but based on your demand we’re gonna have it available all the time.

Tonight, after a busy day at work and a tedious visit to the grocery store, I decided to relax with my very own bowl of Russ’ newest holiday blend. (Pumpkin Cheesecake Holiday 2011) I think my post on my personal Facebook account just about says it all:
Just enjoyed a bowl of “Pumpkin Cheesecake” pipe tobacco. I think we should have a side deal with The Cheesecake Factory to promote this one… cuz after smoking it, nothing would be better than a nice slice. Guess I’ll stick with the zero calorie version for now lol.

There is a supply of this delicious holiday pipe tobacco available in the Albany Habana Premium already, so if you can’t wait to try it, stop in and see us at 1645 Central Ave. and let us know what you think!
edited to add: I’ve personally made certain that both stores have some of this Holiday pipe tobacco blend on hand! N. Greenbush and Albany stores both have bulk Pumpkin Cheesecake for you to try!
