It’s a time when we give thanks for our blessings among them, freedom and peace.  Both observances tell of sacrifice and pain but also of hope and triumph. We hope that this weekend you are with family or friends near to your heart.

Raffle Prize to Benefit Wounded Warrior, Tech Sgt. Wilkinson

We have sweetened the pot so to say! My buddy Brian, Crush 105.7′s “The Wine Guy” gave me a case of wine and a bottle of “Usquebaugh”, meaning “Water of Life” Scotch/Whiskey to add to the raffle! Whoever wins this prize will be very happy!

Many of us have a lot to be thankful for. I am thankful for my family, my health and the fact that I like my job and can actually make a difference in someone’s life. It is with that spirit that I am donating an incredible package to be raffled off with the proceeds being donated to Tech. Sgt. Joseph Wilkinson of Nassau.

Tech Sgt. Wilkinson is an Air Force veteran partially paralyzed from exposure to toxic chemicals in Iraq. Actor Gary Sinise (Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump) is hosting and performing with his Lt. Dan Band in a concert at the Washington Avenue Armory to benefit Tech. Sgt. Wilkinson’s family on April 28th. Learn more here.

You can buy a raffle ticket for $10 or 7 for $50.

All of the proceeds will go to Tech Sgt. Wilkinson’s family.
